JIL SANDER | Announces a partnership with the OTB Foundation to support children in need

Jil Sander announces a partnership with the OTB Foundation to support children in need.

Introducing a limited-edition t-shirt, in which the sale of each will benefit the OTB Foundation’s youth projects around the world. These projects include access to education, psychological support, medical care and therapies.

Fifty percent of the purchase price of each Jil Sander for OTB Foundation t-shirt sold will be used by the OTB Foundation for these specific projects benefiting children.

For this launch occasion, marking the beginning of a series of future collaborations, the proceeds will support the first and only girls’ public orphanage in Kapisa, Afghanistan, a project led by the OTB Foundation in partnership with the Italian non-profit Nove Caring Humans.

The support for the girls’ orphanage follows the positive impact brought since 2022, when the OTB Foundation and Nove Caring Humans re-opened the boys’ orphanage in Kapisa. The need for safe places such as orphanages is increasingly important in this context where poverty and insecurity prevail. Orphanages play a crucial role in relieving families who live in extreme poverty and cannot afford to provide for their children’s basic needs, shelter, education, and access to care.

“Given the terrible circumstances faced by girls in Afghanistan, we chose to support this project as well. Hunger, cold, child labour and various forms of abuse are the order of the day for children and young people. OTB Foundation continues to support this troubled country by trying to give hope to all the requests from families who come to the orphanages, families where women are often the sole breadwinners,” said Arianna Alessi, vice-president of OTB Foundation.

The limited-edition t-shirt features a heart motif and “for the children of the world” message. The t-shirts will be available in Jil Sander stores worldwide and on jilsander.com from today.
