A limited edition of only 99 pieces designed for left-handers. The U-BOAT Classico is renewed with an unprecedented configuration: crown on the right, titanium case, and tungsten bezel, achieving a perfect balance between strength and lightness.
The iconic design of the Lucchese maison, recently reinterpreted in a chronograph version with a titanium case, tungsten bezel, and a new black “carrès”-patterned dial, is once again reinvented. This limited edition of 99 pieces is designed for left-handers, featuring the crown moved to the right side to ensure optimal comfort for those who wear their watch on the right wrist.
Always recognizable for its signature oversized crown positioned on the left, U-BOAT surprises once again, as it did with the Sommerso model, by offering an alternative version of the Classico. A reinterpretation that breaks with traditional watchmaking conventions—where the crown is typically on the right—catering to the needs of left-handers with an exclusive design.
The star of this edition is the latest addition to the Classico family, a timeless watch with clean lines, crafted from titanium—a robust yet lightweight metal—and featuring a tungsten bezel, a material renowned for its extreme durability. The 45 mm case has a matt finish, while the multi-level dial with a black “carrès”-patterned texture is framed by a matt tungsten bezel.
The dial hosts three chronograph counters at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, along with a 24-hour indicator positioned at 1 o’clock, marked by a red hand and crafted in contrasting gray. On the left side of the case, the signature oversized crown is protected by a distinctive safety latch. This time, to suit left-handers, the crown has been repositioned at 3 o’clock. Next to it, at 3:30, a patented button allows for easy crown extraction, while the chronograph pushers for activation and reset are positioned at 2 and 4 o’clock, respectively.
The case back, precisely sealed with seven screws, ensures water resistance up to 100 meters and offers a fascinating view of the Swiss Sellita SW500 movement and the personalized rotor, visible through a sapphire crystal window laser-cut into the shape of a “U.”
Completing the timepiece is a rubber and Alcantara strap with an internal leather lining and a titanium pin buckle, delivering the perfect blend of comfort and durability.
Once again, the Classico stands out for its iconic design and versatility, offering an exclusive right-crown edition, designed for left-handers and available in just 99 pieces.
