Where tradition meets innovation – Biver introduces two new timepieces in 18k yellow gold, reimagining the art of watchmaking with bold elegance.
Since its debut in September 2024, the Biver Automatique has embodied a new vision of contemporary horology, combining precious materials with refined craftsmanship. Following the initial models in platinum and rose gold, the collection now welcomes two striking new additions—both housed in warm 3N yellow gold, yet each with a distinct character.
One model pays homage to classical elegance with a matching yellow gold dial, featuring vertically brushed outer and inner rings and a circular-grained center. The layered textures evoke vintage inspirations, while the applied chemin de fer around the dial’s perimeter offers both visual depth and practical function. The result is a refined portrait of one of Swiss watchmaking’s most iconic materials.
The second reference takes a bolder approach. As part of the Atelier Series, the Carbon Edition pairs yellow gold with a carbon fibre dial—a first for Biver. The woven surface of the carbon subtly shifts under the light, revealing shimmering grey tones beneath a floating gold ring and indexes. It’s a daring juxtaposition: the warm nostalgia of gold meets the dynamic energy of modern materials.
“I believe the Biver brand should never follow others,” says CEO James Marks. “Through producing the unexpected, we’ve created timepieces that offer a distinct perspective. The Carbon Edition is a neoclassical twist—our interpretation of a wrist-worn racing machine.”
Both models are powered by the in-house Calibre JCB.003-C, developed specifically for the Automatique. With a micro-rotor and zero-reset mechanism for the seconds hand, every detail of the movement is meticulously finished in Biver’s signature style. From the sharply angled hands to the concave case contours that play with light, each watch is a testament to the brand’s uncompromising commitment to excellence.
The watches are completed with a black nubuck leather strap and yellow gold pin buckle, with options for a deployant clasp or gold bracelet available upon request.
The new Biver Automatique Yellow Gold and Atelier Series Carbon Edition will be available soon through Biver’s global retail partners, with a limited number of pieces also launching on the brand’s official website, jcbiver.com.
