Gerald Charles unveils 3 Groundbreaking Timepieces for the 25th Anniversary Celebration

Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Gerald Charles is making a remarkable statement at Watches & Wonders Geneva by unveiling three extraordinary timepieces: the Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary Edition, the Maestro GC Sport Tennis in Optic Yellow, and the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph.

The Maestro 3.0 Chronograph Mini Tapisserie Clous de Paris is  a timepiece that pays homage to the legendary Gérald Charles Genta while redefining contemporary horology.

The timepiece showcases a refined sunburst finishing along with the Clous de Paris motif, enhancing the dial’s three-dimensional depth. A signature mini tapisserie pattern unites the dial and strap, a tribute to Genta’s intricate designs that complemented the baroque-inspired Maestro case. This sophisticated interplay of texture and form highlights the Maison’s commitment to artistic detail.

Engineered for precision, the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph features a Swiss Manufacture 3.0 caliber, ensuring exceptional accuracy. Ergonomics are elevated with the integration of ErgonTeq® technology, enhancing comfort and wearability. Designed to meet modern demands, the watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and built to withstand 5G shockproof standards, offering durability and resilience in any setting.

This exquisite timepiece is available in two versions: Ref. GC3.0-TNSB-06CP-RSPN, with a Darkblast® Grade 5 Titanium case and a grey dial, complemented by a white vulcanized rubber strap; and Ref. GC3.0-SSPS-07CP-RSPN, featuring a polished stainless steel case paired with an ice blue strap. Each version embodies the Maison’s dedication to craftsmanship and individuality.

Honoring a Legacy: The Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary Edition

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Gerald Charles introduces the Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary Edition. This limited-edition timepiece, a revival of the iconic GC39 model, is a tribute to Gérald Charles Genta’s unparalleled creativity. First designed in 2005, the GC39 featured a rare “montre à guichet” or “window watch” style, integrating a sliding-hour complication developed by master watchmaker Antoine Preziuso. The unique asymmetric case, inspired by the baroque architecture of Francesco Borromini, remains a hallmark of the collection.

To mark this milestone, Gerald Charles is opening its archives to the public for the first time during Watches and Wonders Geneva. The exhibition will showcase sketches, historical designs, and rare models such as the Turbo, Round 44, Renaissance, Sportside, and Seaside, offering a glimpse into the creative genius of Mr. Genta.

Federico Ziviani, CEO of Gerald Charles, expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone: “It is a great honor to guide Gerald Charles into its 25th anniversary year. Since our revival in 2019, watch enthusiasts worldwide have embraced our vision. Now, we look to the future while celebrating the remarkable legacy of Mr. Genta.”

A Sporty New Chapter: Maestro GC Sport Tennis

Further solidifying its reputation for innovation, Gerald Charles introduces the Maestro GC Sport Tennis, Ref. GC2.0-TX-TNSB-24GR-RSVC. Limited to 200 pieces, this timepiece is designed for high-performance athletes while maintaining the brand’s signature elegance. Its striking yellow dial, reminiscent of a tennis ball, is housed in a lightweight yet durable Darkblast® Grade 5 Titanium case.

The watch features a left-hand crown for ergonomic comfort during intense matches, 5G shock resistance, and an ultra-light 64-gram build. It also boasts a handcrafted textured dial, a nod to past models such as the sold-out Maestro GC Sport Clay and Grass editions. A matching yellow Velcro strap with an easy removal system ensures versatility and wearability both on and off the court.

With these groundbreaking releases, Gerald Charles continues to blend heritage with innovation, honoring the spirit of Gérald Charles Genta while pushing the boundaries of contemporary watchmaking.
