As Christmas inches closer and our days fill with shades of green and red — from festive table toppers to the stockings hanging over our fireplaces, you wouldn’t expect a flower to suddenly break through the thick snow. Yet that’s exactly what it feels like to browse through the Hermès Objects SS26 collection. Like a breath of fresh air, it offers a welcome pause from the beautiful (if sometimes overwhelming) holiday décor and invites us into a world of crisp, uplifting colour. With this refreshing shift in mood, we’re pleased to highlight a curated selection of pieces that capture the spirit of Hermès Objects SS26.
Le Jardin des peintres scarf 70 in vintage silk
Borrowed from nature itself, numerous delicate tones make up Annie Faivre’s lush garden. The French designer drew inspiration from the land- scapes around Collioure, a village in southern France where Matisse, Derain, and Dufy set up their easels and revolutionised 20th-century art. This space is a haven of peace, its Mediterranean species evoking the scent of pine trees and the rustle of palm trees in the wind.

Rouge Hermès, limited edition
Lips are adorned in three never-before shades of pink imagined by Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauté: soft and airy for Rose Épure, classic and magnetic for Rose Mauve, intense and audacious for Rose Primaire. Echoing the Ombres d’Hermès palette, Pierre Hardy, crea- tive director of Hermès Beauté objects, reinter- prets the square and the circle, two essential forms that pirouette across the case to compose a polychromatic ballet.
Coulisse table lamp in bamboo and hand-painted parachute canvas
For this ambient table lamp, Spanish designer Tomás Alonso took inspiration from the panels used as stage decorations for theatrical perfor- mances. At the crossroads of sculpture and func- tional object, these lights in soft and contrasting colours summon a geometry of simple forms:circle, rectangle, and triangle. Hand-painted para- chute canvas, a bamboo frame, a light source, and a connecting circle in copper-plated steel give shape to a space in a play of shadow and light. Crafted by Japanese master cabinetmakers, the bamboo frames are incredibly light.

Points et plans throw in hand-woven cashmere
The large Points et plans throw designed by Sudanese artist Amer Musa evokes a draughts- like game. On the gridded weft in hand-wovencashmere, multicoloured polka dots are applied using a needlework technique.
Hermy rocking horse in beechwood and wool
Once upon a time there was a painted wooden horse. Adopted by the Hermès family in the 19th century, it was installed in the 1980s in the centre of the 24 faubourg Saint-Honoré store, where it became the friend of all children. This collection piece has inspired the comfortable rocking horse known as Hermy. Created in 2003, it is adorned this season with a saddle in wool twill, decorated with an embroidered patch.
Contour d’Hermès three-seater sofa
Generous, timeless, and inviting, the Contour d’Hermès sofa showcases a wool and cotton flamed canvas in new curry yellow and forest green colourways. Signature Hermès details include leather buttons punctuating the cush- ioned backrest and leather piping underscoring its lines. Its beechwood legs are covered with stitched and burnished H bullcalf.
