LONGCHAMP X CONSTANTIN FALL 2025 COLLECTION

In the beginning, a hand. The hand of the leather artisan and the hand of the artist. Between Longchamp and Constantin Riant, the affinities were evident – in their shared love of fine crafts- manship and the cultural eclecticism of Paris. The collaboration is revealed in blue and white on new bags, accessories and ready-to-wear for the Fall 2025 collection.

The illustrator, painter and ceramist Constantin Riant draws his inspiration from his insatiable curiosity and his constant wanderings. The typo- graphy of a shop sign, a particular color or an architectural style catch his eye and nourish his creativity. Taking the time to be a tourist in his own city, he rediscovers what most of us never notice because it’s too familiar. Thus, in lines of cobalt blue, he reveals the Paris of neighborhood artisans. From the upholsterer to the luthier, from the picture framer to the bookseller, typical shop fronts become a pattern on the capsule’s star piece: the Les Artisans de Paris silk scarf.

As a tribute to the heritage of Longchamp, whose original leather savoir-faire continues to inform its contemporary collections, the artist created a new emblem. Every code of the House is represented, each one carefully selected to re- count the links between past and present. The tools of the leather artisan, so essential to his craft, the first leather-covered pipes, the iconic Le Pliage bag, needles and thread, a plane and a ship evoking the allure of travel… The essence of Longchamp, captured by Constantin Riant. This emblem, in the form of a leather label, adorns the back of a cotton jacket or a pair of cotton overalls. It is printed on the capsule’s T-shirt and logo sweatshirt, as well as on the Parisienne’s new favorite tote, a variation on Le Pliage to de- light budding or established artists. All the pieces come in blue and white in the thick cotton canvas of traditional workwear, which over time will acquire a unique and individual patina…

“My collaboration with Longchamp brings to life my wanderings through Paris, seeking out neighborhood artisans. I work with solid color, and here the two- tone palette of blue and white highlights the plays on typography. In fact, my designs evoke the impor- tance of the manual gesture for both artisans and artists.” – Constantin Riant.

“When I first came across Constantin Riant’s work, I was really touched by his attention to detail and his love of craft. His works are somehow both poetic and timeless. The logo he designed for our collaboration reflects the links between art and arti- sanship that are so dear to Longchamp.” – Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp Creative Director.
