Within the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, presented as an extensive runway show, a series of LV Footprint Soccer shoes completes the globetrotting identities on display: travelers, workers, athletes, stars. The LV Footprint Soccer is the first of its kind designed by Pharrell Williams—inspired by authentic cleated boots from the world of field sports.
This sleek sneaker, consisting of a laced calf leather upper and a padded rubber outsole, expresses brand signatures throughout its design. Floral motifs taken from the Louis Vuitton Monogram and an interlinked LV logo are stretched to form a stylized, five-toed footprint on the articulated sole, giving it the ability to leave an LV stamp on soft ground.
The upper is quilted in sloping lines around the toe, ramp, and heel, informed by a modern soccer cleat’s specified support and aerodynamism. A leather tongue, which folds forward to cover a monogrammed shoelace, is embossed with a specially designed LVERS UNITED logo that references the professional soccer universe. The distinctive LV logo is repeated in large format as a double-quilted detail on the side of the shoe, above a smaller Vuitton stamp in an athletics-intoned font. The year 1854 appears on the back, as a nod to the House’s beginnings.
The LV Footprint Soccer arrives in a bold, monochromatic palette, each a single, solid hue with white highlights: black, white, blue, red, or forest green. Its outsole is a continuation of the upper’s color, with prints in a lighter shade to further effect dimension.
