MOTHER INTRODUCES 70S-STYLE CAPSULE BASED ON THE BRAND’S #1 FIT, THE HUSTLER

MOTHER’s Fall 25 capsule collection, The Hustler, pays homage to the brand’s most popular fit in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.

The Hustler, known for its high rise and flared leg opening, was introduced in 2015 and quickly became the brand’s top-selling fit. It’s from this beloved silhouette that The Hustler capsule draws inspiration and further expands its mythology into a 9-piece collection, channeling the grit and glamour of the 1970s.

Known for their storytelling, MOTHER uses this capsule as an opportunity to create a cinematic character who is fiercely independent, plays by her own rules, and carves out her own space in a man’s world. “She’s cunning and confident, living in New York selling counterfeit watches on Canal Street, slipping cards up her sleeve and moving money,” shared Tim Kaeding, creative director and co-founder of MOTHER. “She runs her own hustle—she doesn’t want more; she wants everything.”

The collection is as bold as the character herself. The denim pants and shorts come as a retro refresh for The Hustler fit, recalling iconic looks worn by the on-screen stars of 70s cinema. Building upon the world of flared denim and cropped shorts, the capsule also introduces a wardrobe of fitted tops, a slinky full-length dress, a faux leather jacket with faux fur trim, and a denim trench coat fit for black market deals. Dipping into MOTHER’s archives, the “Still Behind the Hustle” tee also revives a classic style originally released by the brand in 2014.
