Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo held an exclusive auction of eleven unique timepieces to support the Philippe and Elisabeth Dufour Foundation. The auction took place during the Geneva Watch Auction: XXI on May 10 and 11, 2025, bringing together some of the most esteemed independent watchmakers and brands, showcasing their craftsmanship for a charitable cause.

The auction featured pieces from renowned names such as Philippe Dufour, Ludovic Ballouard, Artya, Magana, Carl F. Bucherer, Miki Eleta, Jacob & Co., Berney, Moritz Grossmann, Bovet, and Havid Nagan. Each timepiece was either a one-of-a-kind creation or a unique variation of an existing model, marking a significant moment for independent watchmaking.

Founded in June 2023, the Philippe and Elisabeth Dufour Foundation addresses critical humanitarian needs worldwide, including access to food, clean water, healthcare, housing, and education. Additionally, it supports environmental sustainability and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.

Among the highlights are Philippe Dufour’s Simplicity, adorned with a dial made from real butterfly wings; Ludovic Ballouard’s Upside Down watch featuring a Marc Chagall-inspired enamel dial; and Artya’s Curvy Purity Tourbillon Ruby, boasting a bold ruby red sapphire case and phosphorescent elements.

The auction attracted collectors and enthusiasts, with all proceeds going toward the Foundation’s charitable projects. Previews of the watches were available both online and at Phillips Geneva leading up to the event.
