Princess Delphine is an acclaimed Belgian artist, with more than 35 years of experience. She is celebrated for her bold and emotive artworks, where vivid colour and expressive forms reflect themes of freedom and individuality. Her artistic journey, marked by major exhibitions in Europe, has established her as a powerful voice in contemporary art.
The Eternal Bloom collection is inspired by two of Princess Delphine’s works: “My Self Portrait as a Rose”’ and “A Rose Protected by Love”. The rose, an eternal symbol of beauty, resilience and love, lies at the heart of the designs. Roses are a recurring motif in her work and have become one of her most personal forms of expression.
Princess Delphine’s profound connection to the rose as a symbol in her art made her the ideal visionary behind the collection. In particular, the white rose symbolises new beginnings, fresh starts, peace, hope and sincerity. Princess Delphine personally guided BAUNAT’s master craftsmen in transforming these themes into a collection of six originaljewellery designs. Each design embodies a sculptural, wearable rose handcrafted in 18 kt gold and set with natural diamonds, combining Antwerp precision with contemporary creativity. The collection includes rings, earrings, pendants and a brooch, all designed as timeless expressions of Belgian artistry and individuality.
At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared Belgian identity. BAUNAT’s Antwerp-based craftsmanship and Princess Delphine’s contemporary artistic vision come together to unite two distinct yet complementary worlds: fine diamond jewellery and contemporary art. Every jewel is handmade by BAUNAT’s skilled craftsmen in Antwerp who bring decadesof experience to each creation. Their mastery of traditional techniques is combined with the precision of modern technology, ensuring jewels of the highest quality and refinement. The shared goal was to design jewellery that transcends adornment, expressing individuality, creativity, and the enduring value of Belgian artistry through unique, wearable roses.
A Collector’s Edition & Open Edition
The Eternal Bloom collection celebrates love and rare artistry. For each design, the first eight pieces form a special Collector’s Edition, individually numbered and engraved with Princess Delphine’s signature. The Open Edition follows, equally handcrafted and signed but unnumbered, allowing a wider audience to share in the collection’s beauty andmeaning.
