Harmony meets dissonance. Structure dances with improvisation. In its Fall/Winter 2025 collection entitled “Raw Glamour,” Prada once again challenges and redefines contemporary femininity — not as a singular concept, but as a layered, dynamic exploration of contrasts and contradictions. This artistic vision comes to life not only through the collection’s unconventional silhouettes and materials but also in two new statement bags: the Prada Dada and Prada Tumulte.
Both models embrace duality while expressing distinct identities. The Prada Dada captivates with its soft, featherlight construction and refined sensuality. Crafted from velvety nappa leather, its gentle gathers are shaped by a slim belt — a recurring Prada motif that transforms a functional detail into an intimate, expressive gesture. The buckle, delicate and discreet, has evolved into a recognizable signature, elevating the bag’s subtle elegance. Designed to move effortlessly between sophistication and everyday wear, the Dada reflects Prada’s masterful balance of form, function, and artisanal finesse.
In deliberate contrast, the Prada Tumulte exudes a more dramatic energy — its very name evoking impulse, momentum, and intensity. Yet this power is softened by its rounded silhouette, crafted entirely from nappa leather, and enhanced by accordion-like sides cinched with gleaming metal rings. A double jewel chain adds an unexpected, luminous touch: when worn under the arm, the chain drapes outward like a bracelet, blending practicality with a note of glamour.
Tumulte’s versatility invites spontaneous styling. The bag’s front panels naturally overlap to form a soft closure, while the option of an aged calfskin version — complete with hand-finished contrasting edges — lends depth, texture, and a sense of timeless character.
Together, Dada and Tumulte capture the spirit of Raw Glamour: a celebration of contrasts, a play of elegance and boldness, simplicity and complexity. With these two designs, Prada reaffirms its ability to shape not only fashion but also the evolving dialogue around modern femininity.
