For the Autumn Winter 2025 collection, Samsøe Samsøe has joined forces with legacy brand Schott NYC on an exclusive outerwear capsule. Re-interpreting Schott’s signature shearling jacket and vest, Samsøe Samsøe presents the iconic silhouette through a contemporary Scandinavian lens. Known for its focus on the perfect city essentials, the Danish brand has created a limited- edition jacket and vest for women and men with versatility in mind. Combining timeless silhouettes with premium craftmanship, the pieces will work in any metropolitan city, from New York City to Copenhagen.
To celebrate this special collaboration with Schott NYC, Samsøe Samsøe shot a designated campaign
to present the capsule. Photographer Vitali Gelwich, a long-time friend and collaborator of Samsøe Samsøe, captured the jackets and vests on talents Greta Hofer and Khadim Sock in Paris. The campaign also featured two other special guests: owls. Known for their graceful movements, the owls add a dynamic element to the stills of the campaign: perched on the shoulders or arms of the talents, they create a sense of anticipation as any moment now, they might take flight. But owls are also symbolic for patience and accuracy, stemming from their silent as well as precise skills as hunters. Considering the limited edition of these collaborative styles, the owls therefore also symbolise the effortless elegance of the designs as well as the importance over quality, rather than quantity.
But the owls also bring add another layer of meaning to the jackets and vest. While designed for the metropolitan cities of the world, the pieces are also suited for the times that we are escaping the city and returning into nature, especially in the seasons of autumn and winter. While the ensembles of the talents may point towards city life, the owls therefore point beyond this and towards reconnecting with the wilderness, even if it’s just one day or a weekend at a time.
In line with this notion, we are celebrating the launch of the capsule with a special Søciety trip into the English countryside and a stay at Kin House. Hosted in collaboration with Karmen Tsang, the two-day event will tie into the concept of the campaign with a curated programme, including owl flying and foraging activities.

The high collar protects against wind, and the taped seams add both a functional and stylistic purpose, bringing the whole design together.
