ANTONINI NAVI ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF MOTOR YACHT SEAMORE 33

Antonini Navi signs a new contract to build a 33-metre yacht planned for launch in spring 2025. The unit ordered by an Italian owner is the first based on a new custom steel concept by Hydro Tec. The sale comes just over a month after the announcement of the Explorer Yacht 32 M contract.

Just 40 days after signing the contract to build the Explorer Yacht 32 M for a foreign customer, Antonini Navi scores another win with the sale of custom unit Seamore, a new 33-metre superyacht chosen by an Italian owner. The boat, planned for launch early in 2025, will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival that year and is the first of a semi-custom series built in steel and aluminium.

With this new order, the La Spezia-based shipyard – founded in 2020 by Gruppo Antonini in partnership with Aldo Manna – sets a wider-ranging project in motion that will see Antonini Navi build and market this model, with its original, trendy styling, as a series-produced but highly customisable product.  Gruppo Antonini and Antonini Navi’s know-how in steel and aluminium metalwork will make it possible – starting from the same platform – to modify the superstructure and sections of the hull, thanks in part to the intrinsic characteristics of the metal.

The project will be developed by the shipyard’s Technical Office together with Hydro Tec on exterior line design, naval architecture and engineering, while Hot Lab will handle interior designs.

The hull profile features a high, dominant bow that gives the design a sleek and sporty feel, while the volumes of the superstructure contribute to an elegant, maritime look.

The concept involves areas designed to be totally versatile and flexible, giving priority to open spaces that create unique settings for sharing and conviviality among guests. One of the most interesting features of Seamore 33 is the more than 150-square-metre open-air living space on the main deck, much of which can be closed off if needed by sliding pocket windows fitted flush with the deck.

Starting from the stern platform and extending for over 18 metres towards the bow, the unit offers a unique perception of the yacht’s seamless spaces and volumes. This huge outdoor area is joined by a further 160 square metres of al fresco space on the upper deck, of which 50 are shaded by an elegant hard-top.

The interiors stand out for their unique design, featuring a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern innovation, where strong, noble teak wood plays a key role paired with delicate pastel colours that tend towards shades of sage green, creating an atmosphere of calm and harmony with the sea.

“Care and attention are lavished on every detail, transforming the interiors into an instant classic that, while being state-of-the-art, reflects a timeless beauty that will never go out of fashion,” said Hot Lab’s Enrico Lumini. Antonio Romano added: “It is a pleasure to start work on a second boat with Antonini Navi in such a short space of time. During a recent visit to the shipyard, I was very impressed by the know-how of the people in the technical office and the team we are creating is already very close-knit. I am therefore confident that Seamore 33 will be the first of a series of many other projects.”

“We are immensely proud,” comments Simone Antonini, CEO of the shipyard, “of the success Antonini Group is achieving in the luxury yacht sector. The recent sale of two custom superyachts by Antonini Navi testifies to the commitment and vision of our Group. Special thanks go to our employees and partners, whose tireless work has made this extraordinary achievement possible.

These successes consolidate Antonini Navi as a niche brand in the construction of luxury custom yachts. Our efficiency and technical expertise, have made negotiations quick and fruitful, creating a relationship of trust and a great feeling with our clients.

We will strive to maintain our path of excellence and innovation in the luxury yacht segment, continuing to expand our influence in this area. All this, while always maintaining a human and people-friendly approach, which is precisely what sets us apart.”

The owner is an expert sailor who for many years has chartered superyachts and spent the summer holidays cruising around the Mediterranean. This experience means that he perfectly understands his family’s needs and priorities on his future yacht. And the fact that he’s Italian is even more gratifying because it’s yet another acknowledgement of the value of our Italian-made products from an owner based in the Bel Paese”.

Partner and sales director Aldo Manna said, “I’m hugely pleased with the signing of this new contract, because the sale of two units over 30 metres long in less than two months has been a real challenge. In this latest project, I not only handled the sale myself, but was also involved in the development of the concept and the preliminary design, which the client was happy with right from the outset. To work with Hydro Tech design team was a privilege. With this sale, we have officially occupied three of the four production slots available in the shipyard. Our aim now is to end on a high note by selling the next unit, with delivery in the 2026 season.”

“The sale of this second yacht so soon after the first is a practical demonstration of our shared commitment to offering a product that exceeds expectations.

We are delighted with this new success, which is the result of long collaboration and ongoing commitment, as well as benefiting from the experience of both our companies and the shared desire to overcome their limits,” concluded Hydro Tec’s Sergio Cutolo.
